The Sacrilege - Walmart built in the grave yard of the steel industry
Impoverished city surrenders to free trade as a Wal-mart is built in the grave yard of the steel industry where once thousands of workers made a middle class living. Now Wal-mart is there with many workers needing government and private support to economically survive. The betrayal of workers continues as millions of workers keep losing their jobs. Now, 50 percent of all workers in American are unemployed, underemployed or missing in action from any kind of reporting with only about 38 percent of all American workers qualifying for unemployment insurance. The Sacrilege artwork is taken from The Cross of 9/11 Tangle of Terror artwork that asks who can untangle the terror, globalization and free trade have bred and who said we had to compete like this with one another for the same jobs in a global economic arena .
